Appeal Information:On 21 December 2007, the Supreme Court of New South Wales granted a stay, pending the determination of an appeal to the Court of Criminal Appeal, of the suspension and cancellation determination of the Council of the Law Society of New South Wales with respect to the practising certificate of Leon Nikolaidis. On 17 February 2009, the Supreme Court of New South Wales dismissed Mr Nikolaidis’ appeal whereby the stay of his practising certificate suspension and cancellation was removed.
