<p><span style="color: black;">Accepted a brief, and continued to advise and appear in proceedings for a client in circumstances where:</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">1. she had received information that was confidential to a former client;</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">2. she had received information (whether confidential or not) from a former client, or about a former client, which may be used for her client’s advantage in defamation proceedings, to the detriment of and in conflict with her former client’s interests; </span></p><p><span style="color: black;">3. she was on notice that her former client considered that she held information that was confidential to her and that her continuing to act was in conflict with her former client’s interest;</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">4. she was on notice that her former client did not consent to her acting for her client;</span></p><p><span style="color: black;">5. she was on notice that there was a possibility that her former client may be a witness in her client’s proceedings. </span></p>
